What I mean by “the struggle,” is something that many of us go through at some point in our lives – weight loss & living a healthy lifestyle. Today, I’m finally choosing to open up about what I’ve gone through my entire life and how I’m working to make this change for the better.
Over the past few years, I’ve learned being a twenty-something hasn’t been so easy (especially in our day and age). As we grow up, we certainly go through growing pains that sometimes we just aren’t prepared for. We aren’t necessarily taught ‘Life 101’ in school until the day we leave. We’re just expected to know what to do. And before I go on any further, I’m sorry I haven’t been on here in a while. It’s because life has just caught up to me, mostly for the better. But over the past couple weeks, I’ve been realizing what I’ve been appreciating most in my life as I start to think about building my next chapter. For anyone feeling lost, confused, alone, unsure.. you know, typical feelings we all go through but don’t want to publicly admit..here’s what you can learn and grow from to move forward as you survive what you’re going through.
If there’s anything more I love than sleep, vacations, and warm weather, it’s new music- especially in the summer! Just like the movie industry with their summer blockbusters, musicians seem to have a peak when it comes to summertime. It’s the best time for discovering new music when everyone is out, having parties, and cruising around town with the radio on or their ipod in their cars!
Well here are some of the best (currently and yet to come) that you must check out this summer!
As a recent graduate from Quinnipiac University, one of the best school’s in New England (but most expensive), I started working part time at a radio station here in CT. Though it’s only been over a month since then, I have practiced my media skills more than every before, and it’s made me very glad to have studied the world behind media.
As all of us know, it’s engagement season. Something is in the air with the holidays and New Years that leads to all of these wonderful, adorable….barf. Let me back up for a second.
